The Areas Biggest Independent Poker Leauge !

Wednesday & Thursdays we host Grimsby & Cleethorpes biggest independent poker league.
Following advice from the Gaming Commission we would like to clarify the laws regarding poker in the pub.

1. The maximum contribution from each player is £5

2. The maximum total prize pool allowed is £100

3. No 'Rake' / Registration fee is allowed

4. No other wager on the outcome of the game is allowed

What does all this mean?

No more than £100 can be payed out on any one tournament. So our structure consists of this :

1st Prize £60 (8500 player points)

2nd Prize £30 (7500 player points)

3rd Prize £10 (6500 player points)

4th & below go from 5900 decreasing to 100 (depending on how many players)

Both nights are worked on a 15 week structure which come to a final of the top 16 players of each night playing with the points turned into chips ie 53,500 points = 53,500 chips.

The final night prizes are made up of the over money paid in on any given night. ie 22 players = £10 into the prize pool.

What about rebuys & add-ons? - Not allowed - Against the Gaming Act 2005

What about cash games? - Not allowed - Against the Gaming Act 2005

Do I pay a registration fee? - No - Not allowed - Against the Gaming Act 2005
